Dear Villas Homeowners,

The following HOA Lawn Care Information and related details are provided for your planning:

1.  Our normal HOA-provided lawn care services next week, Tuesday 4 July, and Wednesday, 5 July, will be limited to edging of our lawns, sidewalks, driveways, patios (etc) and a general clean-up of our properties.  Please note, our lawns will NOT be mowed on these days in order to give the grass/lawn a chance to recover from the stress they have suffered due to the hotter days we have recently had, and are forecast to have in the coming days (and possibly next few weeks).

2.  In addition, in an effort to address this problem (stressed grass & lawns) our HOA Landscapere (Brother Bear Lawn Care) has reset our irrigation clocks to water the lawns from 4 days a week to 6 days a week.  In addition, in the future (during the hotter summer months) the landscaper’s lawn mowers will be reset to cut the grass at a height of 3 to 3.5 inches.  This action has been taken since our grass/lawns, mostly bluegrass, is susceptible to hotter temperatures when cut shorter and will dry out and turn brown if cut too short.

3.  Looking ahead – – our landscaper will be providing a midseason light pruning/shaping of our plants and bushes during the week of the 10th of July.  Confirmation of this service will be provided at the end of this next week at which time further details will be provided.

If you have any questions or need further details concerning the above information, please reply to this email notice or use our Villas Lawncare Service request form located on our Website.

Thank you.
