Villa Homeowners Association
Homeowners,
The Board of Directors need to ask for your help. Over the last few months we have received increased reports a FEW homeowers (adults, children and their dogs) have been accessing the Banbury Golf Course without permission. Some of this activity is causing damage to the course. We all need to keep in mind the golf course is not part of the Association nor is it public land, it is private property and unauthorized access or use is not permitted.
Most recently damage has been caused to the 3rd Hole Fairway and Green due to a private Golf Cart being driven on it in a reckless manner. In this regard we need your help to identify the owner of the golf cart and young kids operating it. The cart is a EZ-Go Model, white in color. If you have information as to who is the owner of this vehicle, or address it is based, request you contact Development Services – – your identity will be kept confidential.
In addition we have had regular reports that homeowners living along the 11th, 12th and 13th fairways (adjacent to Colchester) are routinely allowing their kids and dogs to play in those areas. In addition the dogs are digging in the sand traps, leaving holes, feces and urine spots on the fairways and greens. Please note that this activity and damage to the course has a significant impact on the ability of the course owners to operate and properly maintain it. Damage to the greens require costly repairs and have and will adversely affect the many tournaments held at Banbury each year.
It should also be noted, for your own safety, chemical applications are used on the course which are applied outside of normal operating hours. Like some residential lawn care applications they can be unhealthy to people and pets if they come in contact with the application before its strength has been given suficient time to set and fade.
As we all know the Banbury Golf Course, although not part of our Association, is an integral part of our community. It is a great golf course and contributes to the beauty and value of our neighborhood and homes. It is in our interest to help keep the Golf Course in the best condition possible and we can do this by respecting the fact that it is private property and refrain from using it as a public park.
If you have any information concerning this matter, have questions or need more details, please contact Jean Cariaga, our Association Manager at DSI, Tel# 208-939-6000 or by email at jean@dev-services.com.
The Board and our Association will greatly appreciate your help in this regard.
Thank you.
