Dear Villas Homeowners,
Recently you may have noticed our residential irrigation (within the Villas Community) has been having some unusual problems and issues. This has included erratic periods of watering and grass or plants appearing to be stressed due to a lack of water.
After some investigation by our Landscaper (Brother Bear Lawn Care), it has been discovered that a number of our residential irrigation timers have been malfunctioning, i.e. the previous timer settings have been erased or altered. After further review and considering what may have caused this malfunction, it has been determined that our community power outage that occurred earlier this month was the most likely cause. Please note, we have also learned that the power outage, which lasted approximately six (6) hours, was isolated and impacted primarily the Villas Community and the north end of Banbury Meadows.
As a result of these findings, Brother Bear Lawn Care has been working hard to recheck all of our Timers (53 total) and reset those that were impacted by the loss of power. While performing this maintenance BBLC will also be readjusting and extending some of the watering times based on the most recent forecast of warmer / hotter weather in the coming weeks.
Based on the above, we appreciate your patience and support while this problem is addressed and ask that you report any unusual drying out / stressed grass that may occur in your yards after the end of this week.
As a reminder, the best way to report any Lawn Care issues you may be having is to use our Villas Website, Landscaping Service Request Form, which can be found at the following Link: https://www.banburymeadows.org/
Thank you.
