Dear Homeowners,
Please be advised, the Board of Directors has successfully secured the services of a commercial contractor to perform snow clearing services on the streets throughout Banbury Meadows. The contractor is insured and permitted by ACHD to perform residential snow removal. Our decision to take this action has been based on our concerns for your safety and predictions by local City and State officials that there is a strong potential that flooding may occur in the coming days on our community streets. We are concerned with the combination of our heavy snow fall, and the possibility that rain may be forthcoming, we need to make sure that our streets are maintained in the best condition possible (to allow for the evacuation of high volumes of water). Additional water run off that must also be considered is the snow melt that will occur within our residential properties, i.e. roofs and yards.
The contractor plans to begin plowing our streets, curbs and storm drains this afternoon. This work may well continue into the evening.
To help facilitate this project, homeowners are requested to do the following:
1. Delay putting out trash and recycle bins until after this work can be completed.
2. Relocate vehicles from the streets to allow the plow crews to clear all curbs and drains of snow.
3. Refrain from shoveling snow into the streets.
4. If you have a fire hydrant on or adjacent to your property request you clear the snow around it to allow for emergency crew access.
We want to thank our homeowners for their patience, understanding and support while this service is being performed and ask that you keep in mind that our objective is to do everything we can to increase safety and reduce the possibility of flooding..
If you have any questions or need further information or details concerning this matter, please contact Brenda Hines, our DSI Association Manager at (208) 939-6000 or brenda@dev-services.com.
Thank you.
