The neighborhood Entrance Design Committee has worked deligently over the last year with a landscape design company to finalize a new look for the 3 entrances to Banbury Meadows. The design was reviewed by the board, coordinated with Banbury Golf Club and submitted to the City of Eagle Planning & Zoning Committee for approval. Construction will begin in the spring.

The design was reviewed by the board, coordinated with Banbury Golf Club and submitted to the City of Eagle Planning & Zoning Committee for approval. Construction will begin in the spriing as soon as the paperwork and bid processes are complete.
Committee members Julia Bowman, Judy Brown, Dot King, Jason Meck, Deb Garber, Joanne Capstick and Suzanne Craig worked with The Land Group’s David Koga and Talena Dovel through several iterations to come up with a design fitting the neighborhood. The basic criteria were: a wow! factor, no water features, low maintenence and all season interest.
Because these are the entrances to the golf course as well as the neighborhood, the designs were coordinated with the golf course leasees Jerry and Clint. The golf course owns the SE corner at the Oakhampton entrance.
The final plan submitted to the City shows curved sandstone walls on the four corners (Colchester and Oakhampton) and one sandstone wall at the Locust Grove entrance. Off Eagle Road, one wall at each entrance will have lettering "Banbury Meadows" and one will have lettering "Banbury Golf Course." There will be halo lighting behind the letters for night. Some low planting will be in front of the signs and some tall conifers will be behind the signs. The golf course signs in the middle islands will be replaced with conifers and large rocks. There will be no big patches of bare ground or exposed ground lights as there are now. No street lights or fire plugs will have to be moved.
