The annual meeting of Banbury Meadows was held on Tuesday March 31 at the Eagle City Library with about 80 homes represented.  Harold Amidon and Jason Meck were elected to replace outgoing board members Robere Kazadi and Terry Bowman.  They join other continuing board members Lyle Capstick, Suzanne Craig and Trish Trader.  The 2008 end of year financials were reviewed by Treasurer Lyle.  He also presented the 2009 budget.

The new design for the three entrances to Banbury Meadows was revealed.  The plan now goes to the City of Eagle Planning and Zoning Committee for approval.  Bids will be requested from landscape builders for construction which will begin as soon as the approval is granted.  Look for the pictures of the entrance design at the golf course.

There were not enough votes to pass the proposed clarification in wording to the CC&Rs.  There were questions from home owners about pot holes, vacant lots and who is allowed to fish in the pond.  There were also concerns about cars speeding through the neighborhood. Neighbors were reminded that there are many activity groups in the neighborhood including bridge, bunco, crafts, Texas Hold-em, bible study, and lunch bunch.  Web site and ARC volunteers were solicited.

The ARC committee of Roland Desaulniers, Skip Wingfield, Mark Schuermann, Melanie Gorczyca and Linda Bennett were thanked for their service this past year.  The Entrance Committee Julia Bowman, Jason Meck, Dot King, Judy Brown, Deb Garber and Suzanne Craig were thanked for their work.  Finally Robere Kazadi and Terry Bowman were given thanks for their years of service on the BOD.

The next meeting of the HOA is Monday, April 13 at 7:00 pm at the sales office on the corner of Oakhampton and Mary Post.  In addition to orientation of the new board members, there will be discussion of pot holes, working with ACHD on speeding signs, landscaping, the entrance bids, ARC committee members and other committee appointments.  All neighbors are welcome to attend the meeting.
