Jim and Marianne Brandt were Shot Link lazer operators during the Accenture Match Play golf tournament (Won by Tiger Woods) in February at the Gallery Golf Club in Marana Arizona. "On this day we were working the 17th fairway and "shot" the ball with the lazer and it automatically computes the distance of the drive. This is how the TV announcers know how far the drive was and with the help of the greenside lazer operators they know how far the putt will be down to the fraction of an inch." |
